Monte Horizonte

Lamprey eel is the focus of a Pousadas de Portugal promotion, where it will will be served up in some innovative ways as part of the Lamprey Festival running  until the 6th of March, 2010. Just two of the Pousada kitchens are involved,  the Pousada de Queluz in Lisbon and the Pousada de Amares in the North. Enjoy dishes such as Minho-style lamprey with rice and roast lamprey.
